Our sterling silver jewellery is sourced from a small mountain town called Taxco, known as the silver centre of Mexico. Every piece is hallmarked with .925 which designates it as sterling silver. All sterling pieces are made by hand by the silversmiths who live above their studios. You’ll notice our silver is quite substantial compared to jewellery from other countries. Some designs are replicas from the silver school of William Spratling and other designers who revived silver design in the 1940’s, the heyday of Mexican silver. We also sell silver plate which is fabricated by bathing copper in a wash of sterling silver, making it very economical.
